(Hong Kong, 18 March 2008) ˘w KanHan Technologies Limited (KanHan) today
announced the Chinese Olympic Committee (www.olympic.cn)
has launched its traditional Chinese website in reaching out to overseas
Chinese communities. The traditional Chinese interface is generated in real-time
by KanHanˇ¦s market leading solution for website translation between traditional
Chinese and simplified Chinese, HanWEB Publishing Server. The project spearheaded
by China Interactive Sports (www.sports.cn),
a company founded by the Chinese Olympic Committee and All-China Sports
Federation (www.sport.org.cn)
will bring HanWEB to more than 100 official Olympic sport event websites
and other non-Olympic sport websites such that overseas Chinese community
will be having a familiar traditional Chinese interface in knowing more
about sport developments in China.
The patented HanWEB technology has won numerous awards since its launch
in 2000. The endorsement from the Chinese Olympic Committee further confirms
its market leadership and the need for Chinese enterprises and government
agencies in reaching out to the overseas Chinese using their familiar
Chinese language interface.
